Tangential
Filtration
The
principle of filtration with tangential membranes is physical separation.
It
is the pore size of the membrane which determines the type of separation of the
molecules present in the inlet product.
Molecules larger than the pores of the membrane are
completely retained.
Other
molecules that are smaller than the pore size of the membrane are pass through
these pores and go into the generated permeate.
